Calafate Night - Astroturismo

21:00 - Search in hotels
From 9:00 pm, we will pick you up at the hotel, house or apartment where you are staying to start the tour.
Then we will go to an Estancia located 30Kms from El Calafate, completely away from the light pollution of the city, where we will observe the sky with telescopes and a simple view, enjoying seeing one of the 10 best skies on the planet.
With the telescope we can enjoy seeing the moon, planets, nebulae, star clusters and the brightest stars.
Following the observation with telescopes, the guide in charge will explain how to observe the sky with the naked eye, you can find the cardinal points using stars, learn about mythology, draw constellations and everything about the Milky Way, stars, satellites, planets, etc.
To complete the experience we will make a night photography "astrophotography" so that passengers can take away for free a souvenir of the activity, with the sky and the stars in the background.

Before embarking on the return, coffee or tea will be offered to those who wish.
This experience lasts about 3 hours.
