The pick up starts at the accommodation in El Calafate from 7:30 am.
During the 90 km trip along Route 40 to the starting point of the activity, we will get to know the Patagonian steppe and the flora and fauna that inhabit it.
Once we arrived at the beginning and delivered the technical equipment, we entered the river La Leona to row 16 km (2:15 hours approximately) in double kayaks of crossing.
As we descend this wonderful turquoise-green glacial river, we will make a stop at the Cerro Los Hornos formation, where we will start a 5 km (2 hours) trekking to discover petrified logs, fossil remains and one of the oldest formations on the planet, a unique landscape more than 90 million years old.
We will return to El Calafate around 4:30 pm (for those who have a flight after 6 pm we can leave them directly at the airport at 4:15 pm with their luggage).
