Camping Lago Roca

This area offers quiet places, protected from the Patagonian winds, ideals for camping, hiking to the surrounding hills such as “Cristal”, visiting cave paintings or fishing. Along the road to this area you will enjoy the Patagonian steppe, full of bushes and the characteristic “coiron” (festuca/dry grass), as well as important Patagonian ranches such as “Huyliche”, “Anita”, “Alta vista”, “Chorrillo malo”, “Lago Roca” and “Nibepo Aike”

Roca lake is located fifty kilometers from El Calafate, on road 15 (gravel road). You can get there by car (private or taxi), public transportation bus or you can buy an excursion at any travel agent.
